Wild Ken Hill is a 5 minute drive or you can walk to the edge of Wild Ken Hill by walking to Heacham South Beach and follow the coastal path. They hold guided tours around the 4,000 acres. A fantastic nature attraction for all ages. https://wildkenhill.co.uk/

Sandringham House is not to be missed the Royal Family’s country retreat. You can easily spend the day looking around the house, restaurant, shops, museum, country park and gardens excellent Children's play area which is free. Holkham Nature Reserve The Beach is incredible, it goes on for 11 miles, lovely golden sand, dunes, a maze of creeks and marshes and a pine trees. https://www.holkham.co.uk/
Snettisham Park is a working farm with lots of animals to see, a large outdoor play area for the kids and a deer safari where you can get up close and feed the deer with shop and restuarant. https://www.snettishampark.co.uk/


Hunstanton Cliffs

Venturing out, you will discover pretty coastal villages and towns. The popular beach resort of Hunstanton is just 2 miles away or a 30 minute walk on the coastal path and is home to shops, tea rooms, restaurants, amusement arcades, a fun fair, pirate golf, Sea Life Centre and a Theatre.

Our favourite Seaside destinations are Wells-next-the-Sea, Sheringham, and Cromer make sure you bring your crabbing nets to Cromer! Here you can find the various shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, boat trips and boats to hire

In land our favourite places to visit are HoltBrancaster and Burnham Market all lovely with plenty of shops, renowned eateries and shops, walks and things to do.

Pensthorpe just outside Fakenham is home to many different species of birds and a lovely day out it is great for all the family with restaurant, walks, and play area and shops. https://www.pensthorpe.com/

Here in Norfolk we are described as the Bird Watching capital of Britian, are cottage is very well located between two RSPB Reserves RSPB Snettisham & RSPB Titchwell Marsh.

RSPB reserves at Snettisham, 7 min. drive and Titchwell, 15min. drive, are popular destinations for anyone interested in birds and nature.

The City of Norwich with its cathedral, castle, medieval streets and buildings, shops, restaurants, cafes and famous market is just over an 1 hours drive

Norfolk Broads - Wroxham We hired a boat for the day at Richardson of Wroxham, (we deliberately chose a boat with a toilet!) highly recommend it. We are a perfect base for exploring the Norfolk coast, The area is fantastic for couples, families with children of all ages, We have superb beaches and plenty of walks, Bridwatching and the AONB along the coast from Hunstanton to Cromer.
